Approach to Safety

Beverage producers take pride in the quality and safety of their products. Beverages are regulated as a food in Canada so they must meet the highest standards set by Health Canada.  All of our members' production facilities are regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).  These facilities all have stringent quality measures.

The Canadian beverage industry's top priority is to ensure the quality and safety of its products and packaging through rigorous standards that meet or exceed government requirements.
