A Canadian business environment that recognizes the leadership of the Canadian beverage industry, where the sector can continue to grow, innovate and prosper in a sustainable and socially responsible manner. 

Mission Statement

The core mission of the Association is to promote the interests of the non-alcoholic beverage industry in Canada by:

  •  Achieving commercially responsible regulations and public policy at all levels of government that provide the industry with consistent business rules within a level playing field, that allows the sector flexibility to innovate and that maintains control of industry-developed programs.
  • Fostering a positive media and public image by profiling the leadership, contributions and products of the Canadian beverage industry. 
  • Acting as the effective industry spokesperson with government and media to promote the interests of the sector on common industry issues

  • promoting beverages as an integral part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle
  • supporting the appropriate recycling of beverage packaging through efficient and cost-effective recovery systems
  • promoting product innovation and availability to meet consumer demand
